The records of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Society, Delta Chapter contain the petition for formation of the chapter, correspondence, and other general information. The Society's mission is to encourage and recognize excellence in premedical scholarship. The North Carolina State University chapter (Delta Chapter) of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Society was petitioned for and incorporated in 1974. At NC State, this honor society replaced the existing Premedical and Predental Club, which had been active on campus since at least 1971.
